| I have known Stan and Anne for a good number of years, and Anne was one of the true 'backroom boys' ready to assist at every given opportunity.

| Anne was well known to us in Surrey and we are all saddened by the news today.
Please pass on our deepest condolences to Stan on behalf of everybody here at Surrey.

| What can I say: Anne was a major footing in the formation of the Shropshire Pool Association in the 70s she had three small children yet she would be right behind you at every league or County event mostly giving you a lecture in her Scottish tone. Anne to me will always be remember in Shropshire as her part at Donnington Working men's Club being on the door waiting to get in & erect pool tables, take entries then playing herself, and may I say taking the honours in a lot of the Ladies tournament. Anne was also a special friend, living near to the family & working that area I could always call to get a mug of tea, time was never pressing to Anne she always had time to make you welcome, on nights out with league functions Anne & Stan were never early but they got there, and made a memorable night for everyone. | I never knew anne but I am sorry to hear that she passed away and I am completely sure that everyone in the game of pool will miss her greatly. My deepest sympathy goes to her family during this sad time. Graham |

| May Dave and myself say how sorry we were to hear of this sad news, Anne was a large piece of Shropshire Pool Association in the early day's and will always be remembered for her part in making this County's pool team's a force to be reckoned with.

| Although Anne was known to us through Pool, our fondest memories of Anne were the Discos that she and Stan did for us at Wrockwardine Wood & Trench Labour Club when we had our Presentation Nights for Darts, Dominoes and Pool.
