27 of the Nations best Junior players assembled at The Rat Pack Pool Club in Hertfordshire to contest the first of four Junior tour events to take place in the south of England.

The players were split in to three groups of seven, and a group of six. All matches in the round robin groups were best of five frames, using the much proffered lag to determine the break.

Three of the four groups were dominated by players that won all of their six matches.

Winners and runners up in the groups progressed to the quarter finals, group winners played the second placed players, the quarter final draw guaranteed that you could not play the other qualifier from your group until the final. This is exactly how it ended up, the final was contested by Luke Bowry (winner group one) and Adam Bassoo (runner up group one) Unfortunately for Adam history repeated itself and Luke ran out a 5 - 2 winner to take Southern Tour One and the £150 winners cheque.
