England Team internal trials took place 1-2 April to find four additional players to join

Following an incident at the last Champion of Champions (2010) the EPA had to hold a disciplinary hearing with the Rat Pack Team.

Although a lot of speculation has been bandied about regarding issues over this scenario, the Tournament Director of the event, Alan Benton, has the full backing of the EPA Executive Committee and National Committees on his handling and decisions made over this issue.

The Rat Pack team failed to comply with the rules of the event, not just once, but twice. The team were thrown out of the event and no prize money was paid to them.

None of the players attended the disciplinary hearing. The players were fined and suspended and not allowed to enter the event for 2011.

East Herts Pool League appealed against this decision on behalf of the Rat Pack Team, at the appeal hearing, again no players attended, Tom Fahy represented the team and the original decision was upheld.

The EPA National Committee will not knowingly tolerate teams or individuals who do not comply with the rules. Non compliance with the rules will not be accepted, whether by design or default.
