The final was between current England and Nottinghamshire player Bill Rigby, a member of the current World Championship England team, and Joe Brown, an ex IPA player from Liverpool. The semi finalists were Chris Littler from Liverpool, an ex England Mens team player and Professional and defending Champion Tony Kay from Cleveland, also a current World Championship England member.

The final was of an exceptional standard going to the wire with Bill Rigby clearing the final frame from the break.
