3-PERSON TEAM TOURNAMENT PLAYED IN “XXXX” DRAUGHT STOCKIST VENUES
NATIONAL FINAL TO BE HELD IN NOVEMBER 2005

1 Open to all teams – must be registered and play at a participating “XXXX” Draught stockist venue.
2 Closing date for confirmation of entry 4th April 2005.
3 Team Captains will select a squad of 4 players (male or female) of which any 3 can compete in a fixture. It is permissible to play different players in each of the home/away matches, provided the players selected are from the original squad of 4 players nominated at the start of the tournament. (No name changes to those names on the original Team Registration Form are allowed).
4 Only one professional or international or county player can be registered for each squad of 4 players. A professional, international or county player is classified as having registered and/or played any matches (from 1st January 2004 to 31st December 2005). They must be designated as such on the Team Registration Form.
5 All entry forms need to be sent to the Administration Office at the address below.
6 There are no restrictions on the number of teams that can be entered from a participating venue.
7 Players can only enter the tournament once. Any team playing a player who has previously played with another team will be expelled from the tournament.
8

Players must be 18 years of age by 4th April 2005.

9 The tournament will consist of 5 rounds, played over two legs (home and away). Fixtures will be arranged on a local basis to minimise travel.
10

Losers at Round 1 will be offered the chance to play in the Team Competition Plate and must indicate this on the Result Sheet at the end of round 1. They will subsequently receive further information and fixture details.

11 Winners of 5th round games will go forward to the National Final in November 2005.
12 Each fixture will consist of 9 frames, with a point per frame won. If after the home and away fixtures the combined score is a tie, each team will nominate one player (from the squad of 4) to play a single frame decider.
13 All matches must be played to World Eightball Pool Rules. All disputes of whatever nature shall be referred to the organiser (EPA) in writing within 5 days following the match. The organiser’s decision in any dispute will be final and absolute.
14 Referees are to be appointed for all matches by mutual agreement between the two teams and table costs paid for by the home team.
15 Teams must have a minimum of 2 players at the start of the match (8 pm) and will forfeit the 3rd players’ frames if that player is not at the venue by 8.30 pm.
16 The winning team must return the completed result sheet within 5 days after the second leg fixture.
17 The organiser will not be responsible for any team not turning up for a fixture, or for non-receipt of result sheets or any correspondence delayed or lost in the post.
18 The organiser reserves the right to amend the tournament according to circumstances prevailing and their decision will be final and absolute.
19 All participants will be deemed to have read and agreed to abide by these Rules & Regulations.
