Report from Green Baize - Seniors Tour - 8/9 March 2014


The Seniors Tour took place at the Green Baize Pool Club, Stoke-on-Trent.

Adrian and Karen looked after all players on the Seniors Tour this weekend running around making sure everything went without a hitch.

The players gave positive feedback about how the Executive handled the rearranged Tour One.

Surprises were in abundance as names like Harris Ali, Paddy Prince, Alfie Powley and Michael Steele were knocked out in the early stages.

True to form Keith Brewer reached the final playing Russell Burgess who played excellent throughout the tournament losing only 7 frames. His form carried on in the final where he beat Keith Brewer 6�4.

In the plate event semi finals, Chris Littler lost to Bill Rigby and Roger Hunt lost to Paddy Prince. The final was a close cut event as Paddy beat Bill 5-4.

Shirley thanked Adrian, Karen, Yvonne, Paula and all players.
