Update 27 September 2020
- Unfortunately, EPA Tour 5 due to take place in October has been cancelled. Under current guidelines, it is not possible to allow this event to go ahead as scheduled. The first Tour date in 2021 which was scheduled to take place in January has been postponed to September 2021 and the 2021 events have been renumbered accordingly.
Update 10 September 2020
- The EPA have received a statement from Sport and Recreation Alliance:
Sport and Recreation Alliance have had confirmation that Covid-secure venues such as leisure facilities and pubs can remain open and that sporting activity can continue as long as it takes place within Covid-secure guidelines. The key thing is that people do not attend these venues or socialise in groups of more than six. Therefore, as long as there aren’t groups of more than 6 playing together, you should be fine for pool leagues to continue. The SRA has details of the Latest Government Guidance
. Also see Guidance - Return to recreational team sport framework
on the Government website.
