World Championships 2019
Congratulations to all of the teams from England that competed in the 2019 WEPF World Championships.
Overall a truly impressive set of performances.
A special thank you to the team managers and the team members, for their support of each other and the EPA during the event.
Men
Team Champions once again with a stunning set of results with a 100% record.
Congratulations to Shane Thompson who achieved top player status at the last European Championships as well as this year’s World Championships, a unique double. for this event he won 24 of his 27 frames 88.88%.
Ladies
Fell short in the Semi – Final to an impressive side from South Africa who went on to win the event.
Congratulations to Skipper Barbara Taylor top female player for the event winning 29 of her 38 frames 76.31%.
Juniors
Team Champions, won 5 of their 6 round robin matches, losing only to Australia by the odd frame, however gained revenge in the final defeating Australia 13 – 9.
Top player from England and second in the rankings was Jasper Simmonds winning 20 of his 27 frames 74%.
Seniors
World Team Champions once again defeating India 13 – 11 in the final.
Top player from England was Keith Brewer winning 27 of his 35 frames 77.14%.
Under 23
Impressive results during the league stages with a 100% record, lost to Ireland on the final frame.
Top player from England was Ross Smith winning 18 of his 27 frames 66.66%.

Junior Pool - Three one-day singles events - NEW for 2019
New for 2019, three one-day juniors singles events - Northern, Midlands and Southern areas.
Entry Fee - £10 per person, per event
Prize fund - £500 per event, depending on entries
2019 EPA ID card holders only
Each event limited to 32 and will be taken on a 1st received with payment basis
