20/21 April 2012 Seniors EPA International Pool Tour at the Corn Exchange Derby

Another enjoyable weekend in Derby for the EPA Seniors tour where Keith Brewer beat Steve Adams 6-2 in the final.

Keith didn�t have it all his own way as he very nearly lost to Scotland international Mike McHale in the second round as he was 4-1 down but he did what he does best and tightened the game up and played like a chess master keeping Mike out of the game and coming back to take the match 5-4.

Steve Adams took out some names to get to the final beating Alistair Bailey 5-4 in the semis and Andy Redsull in the quarters.

In the plate event, winner Nick Burton beat Martyn Randell 5-2. On the way to the finals he beat Roger Hunt 5-3.

In the other semi, Martyn beat Ian Moffat 5-4.

Shirley thanked John Hope for refereeing all weekend, she said that he had done a great job. She also thanked Paula Sagar for all her hard work over the weekend and Ian of the Corn Exchange who looked after everyone all the weekend.
