KC's Pool & Sports Club, 9 Mornington Road, Preston, PR1 4UL
Owners: Ken & Caroline Marland
The main car park, which is owned by KC's, has 17 car parking spaces (although this is being relined shortly to increase the number of car parking spaces in this area). We have a second car park to the side of the building with an additional 23 car parking spaces, so have in excess of 40 spaces. There are also no restrictions on parking in the road/roads in the surrounding area. All car parking spaces are for the exclusive use of KC's customers on county match days as the neighbouring dance studio, which we allow access to our car park, is closed on Sundays.
KC's is fully accessible for wheelchair users, and all facilities are on ground floor level. We also have an accessible toilet. There is a separate disabled toilet which is kept locked with a key behind the bar to prevent misuse.
The club offers English 8 Ball pool tables and a fully licensed bar.
When Lancashire County Pool Association stages a home matchday, there's one place that consistently delivers the right environment, the right standards, and the right matchday feel − KC's Pool & Sports Club.
As the official county venue for Lancashire, KC's has become the hub for our county programme, providing a reliable base for International Rules fixtures, county activity, and the wider matchday experience that players, officials and supporters expect at this level.
County pool isn't just about having tables available − it's about consistency, fairness and professionalism across every home fixture.
KC's provides the foundations that county competition needs:
That reliability matters. It helps our squads prepare properly, supports smooth matchday operations, and ensures every home fixture is delivered to the standard Lancashire expects.
International Rules is the benchmark code for county competition − and KC's is where Lancashire brings that code to life on home soil.
From Open to Ladies, Seniors and development pathways, KC's hosts Lancashire county pool in a setting that reflects the importance of these fixtures: competitive, structured, and built around delivering a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
The venue gives Lancashire a genuine 'home base' − a place where squads can build routine and confidence, and where supporters know exactly where to go to back the county.
KC's isn't only about match results − it's also about building a county culture.
Having a stable, dependable venue allows Lancashire County Pool Association to run activity in a more connected way, including:
That consistency strengthens the county programme − making it easier for players to commit, for captains and officials to plan, and for supporters to follow and engage throughout the season.
A county venue works best when it's a genuine partnership − and KC's continues to be exactly that.
We value the support KC's provides to the county game, the professionalism they bring to matchdays, and the way they help Lancashire present itself properly to visiting counties and officials.
This partnership helps Lancashire keep county pool visible, organised, and delivered with pride.
If you're supporting Lancashire, aiming for county involvement, or simply want to experience the atmosphere of county matchday pool, KC's Pool & Sports Club is where it happens.
